Instant Noodle, becoming Thai Basic Commodity?

It has been for times that Instant Noodle Companies, particularly Ma Ma, tried to get an approval from Internal Trade Department of Thailand to raise their noodle prices, about 1B, since the world oil prices has climbing up later quarters of this year. According to Mama, their production costs rise up tallying with oil price, and so other basic commodities and start rising up inflation.

Thai authority had already allowed some basic commodities items to high up such as Pork, et.., but not "Instant Noodle". The authority persuade MaMa to wait until the next new year to rise up their prices. The authority said that "Instant Noodle" is included in some over 200 commodity items that they are watching closely up.
